The 18" professional microfiber mop is our most popular size. It is large enough to make quick work of large spaces, yet small enough to be easily maneuvered around furniture and tight spaces.
The Microfiber Wet "Twist" Mop Pads, are the most common and popular type of microfiber mop pad. They are gentle enough to be used on any floor surface, including hardwood, tile, and vinyl, yet have enough scrubbing ability to clean most common messes. The wet pads perform best when they are slightly wet or damp, and do not clean as well when they are completely saturated. For this reason we recommend wetting the pad or the area of the floor to be mopped with a spray bottle that contains water or your favorite cleaning solution. You can also wet the flat floor mop pad under the sink or in a mop bucket but you must remove the excess water/solution prior to mopping for the pad the perform best.
One of the major benefits of using this 18" commercial microfiber mop system is that once the pads are dirty and saturated they can be removed and laundered, and replaced by a clean pad. Unlike traditional microfiber mop kits this means that you are not mopping your floor with a dirty mop, and dipping your mop back into a dirty water solution.
Washing microfiber towels is pretty easy, there are just a few things that you should remember to keep your products effective and long lasting. You can wash and dry your microfiber products in your household washer and dryer, with warm water and low heat.
Microfiber towel washing instructions to keep your microfiber "like new":
Microfiber products do not like bleach. Washing microfiber towels with bleach breaks down the polyester and polyamide micro-filaments, rendering them less effective.
Fabric softeners provide a layer of "softeness" on your clothing, which is nice for clothing that you wear, but this coating clogs the microfibers, rendering them less effective.
It is not that microfiber products do not like cotton products or other fabrics, it is that when you are cleaning microfiber cloth with your cotton products the microfiber will grab and hold onto the lint that the cotton produces. So if you do not want your microfiber towels to lint then you should not wash them with cotton products. Follow these microfiber washing instructions to keep your towels and sponges in pristine condition.
Some users of microfiber, automotive, janitorial, need a more effective way of cleaning microfiber cloths to remove dirt, grime, oils, and etc. from their microfiber towels, and Household detergents just don't do the job.
